Our Business Work Experience & Careers Day is designed to give you a clear understanding of the wide range of degree options and career pathways available within the business world.

In the morning session, we explore the different business-related degrees you can study at university — including business management, finance, marketing, entrepreneurship and more. You’ll learn about entry requirements, subject choices, grade expectations and the long-term career prospects associated with each pathway. We’ll also discuss how to build a strong application and begin developing the skills universities look for.

In the afternoon, you’ll take part in a structured virtual work experience task, applying business thinking to a practical scenario. This hands-on session will help you develop commercial awareness, problem-solving skills and the confidence to discuss real examples in applications and interviews.

The day concludes with a live Q&A session, giving you the opportunity to ask questions about university study, career options and the realities of working in business.

At the end of the course, you will receive a certificate of completion that can be referenced in your university applications.
